Winter/Nashville/New Record
Hey Everyone!
Hope y'all had a great holiday season!
I apologize for the delay in updating this blog. Been very busy giggin, writing, recording, etc!
Had some exciting things happen this fall/early winter!
"Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses" had the opportunity to audition for the President of Capitol Records in Nashville in November. Went really well. One of our best performances ever! Not signed with a label as of now, but we're sure working on it! Should be a big year! Come on 2008!
Our new record is almost completely tracked and is in the mixing stage now. Very excited about it! Lots of new tunes and a few road tested ones. Been getting good reviews from the few that have had a chance to check out some songs. Lookin' to release it in late January or Feb. Be looking for a tune called "Burnin' Down the Bar" which features ten lead singers from ten different groups. You can check out one of the new tracks "Ol Shep" on our www.myspace.com/markstary page.
Been playing a ton of shows! Thanks to everyone that has been coming out to support us. Could not do it without you. Got lots of new clubs we're playing and we are looking forward to rocking them all! Anyway, thanks again for everything, hope you all are well and will be contacting y'all soon as this record gets done!

I didn't know you were on Blogger! I use it to track my workouts and get feedback from people. Anyway, hopefully, Vicki and I will make it out to one of your shows soon! We are looking forward to the new CD too.
