March 6th, 6:30pm "Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses" will be on the Fox Sports / FSN North Show "Gopher Weekly." Check it out! (http://msn.foxsports.com/regional/minnesota) Commercials for the broadcast (filmed before our last O'Gara's show) will be airing next week. FSN will be shooting some footage for the show at our upcoming "Lee's Liquor Lounge" show next Thursday, Feb 22nd, 9:00 pm. Come on out & be loud for the cameras!
"Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses" guitarist, Mr. Dan Neale, will be performing on "A Prairie Home Companion" (http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/) this weekend both Friday & Saturday (Feb 16th-17th). Please tune in!
Saturday, Feb. 24th, "Louie" will be played on K102's (www.k102.com) "Roadhouse" broadcast (11:00 pm start). This song off our record features guest vocals from Mr. Dan Neale, Mr. Brandon Sampson (www.sixmilegrove.com) & Mr. Nate Dungan (www.trailertrashmusic.com). COME TO CHICAGO WITH "MARK STARY & THE WHISKEY ROSES!" "Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses" will be performing at "Joe's" in Chicago (www.joesbar.com) opening for "The Lost Trailers" (www.thelosttrailers.com) on 4-20-07! PLAN A WEEKEND IN CHICAGO & HELP SUPPORT THE SHOW! Really big night for us, put it this way, when Dierks Bentley plays the Twin Cities he headlines the Xcel Energy Center. When he performs in Chicago, he plays at "Joe's!!!" A great venue & a great opportunity!
Also, headin' off to Nashville in a couple weeks for CRS radio week. Checkin' in on some of my new material. Will keep ya posted.
