Booya!
Hey All!!
Received a phone call on Thursday before the show at "Lee's." Was a strange number and a gruff voiced man was on the line. He proceeded to complain about the new "Mark Stary & The Whiskey Roses" record. Said that it was offensive and that it degraded John Wayne. After being asked if I knew who it was, to which I replied "No!" The voice revealed itself as, Mr. Terry Ingram, my old photography professor at UW-Stout! His sons, Tim and Rob, we're listening to the record before they were heading to the show at "Lee's" and Mr. Ingram decided to call and prank me. He loved the record! Great to hear from ya, Mr. Ingram. Ya got me!
Hope everyone had a chance to check out Mr. Dan Neale on "A Prairie Home Companion" on Saturday. He did a spectacular job!
"Delhi Bar" was a great time as usual. Had a great time jammin' for the bar and throwin' back a few with The Nelson, Kelli & Mallory (Pink Ladies), etc.
"Lee's Liquor Lounge" was awesome! Thanks to everyone that made'er out that night! Was great to see the Menomonie folk up in the cities! Rob, Tim, Heim, Joe, Chris, Brandon, Ann, Megan, Kelli, Bonnie, Mallory, Heather, etc. etc. etc. Thanks for the support! Somebody send me those photos!
Was great to see Story, Tanya, Nicki, Cristina, Joe, Randy, etc. at "Twisted Shamrock" on Friday. Thanks to Randy Tollin' for takin' such great photos. Check'em out on our photo page! Thanks also to Mr. Nick Asuncion for performing some tunes with Mr. Dan Neale. "Handle with Care" is one of my favorite songs.
Thanks to Mr. Dan Neale for makin' it down to perform at "Booya's" on Saturday after his "Prairie Home" gig. Thanks also to Mr. Shawn Schradle for playing along as well. Had a awesome time as usual! Was great to see: my sis - Amy, Heim, Chris, Tim, Tony, Adrienne, Stacia, Ma, Judy, Dad, Derek, Kayla, Jason, Lacey, Phil, Mona, Rick, etc. etc. etc. etc. Thanks to Lacey for singin' some Alison Krauss with us and Derek for grabbin' lead vocals on "Horse." Thanks to all that came out to support the show. We had a great time!
Got a big week of shows comin' up: Menomonie, Hager City, Dinkeytown and Rochester. Gettin' excited about the Nashville trip and Pat Green show as well. Wish us luck & hope to see y'all soon!
